Registration & General

Who should attend the Summit?

The Summit is designed for recovery residence operators, peer leaders, NARR affiliates, behavioral health providers, policymakers, researchers, and partners working to strengthen recovery housing systems.

Is registration open?

Yes. Registration for the 2026 NARR Best Practices Summit is now open.

What does registration include?

Registration includes access to all Summit sessions, plenaries, and networking opportunities, as well as scheduled meals and refreshment breaks during conference programming.

Current meal schedule includes:

  • Breakfast: Monday–Wednesday
  • Lunch: Monday–Tuesday

Meal offerings are subject to change based on the final conference schedule.

What is the cost of registration? Is there an early-bird rate?

Yes. Early-bird pricing is available through July 31, 2026.

  • Affiliate Members: $650 (early bird) | $700 (standard)
  • Non-Affiliates: $700 (early bird) | $750 (standard)

Continuing education credits are available for an additional $75 processing fee.

Additional registration categories, including speaker and Affiliate Leader registrations, may require invitation codes or approved status.

Are scholarships available?

Yes. The John Lehman Advancing Recovery Scholarship may provide support for registration, travel, and lodging expenses for eligible attendees.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority consideration given to applications received by July 15, 2026.

Scholarship funding is limited and awards may provide partial or full support based on demonstrated need, anticipated impact, and available funding.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change and appreciate advance notice if you are unable to attend.

Refund Schedule

  • On or before August 4, 2026: Full refund minus a 3.5% non-refundable processing fee
  • August 5–25, 2026: 50% refund minus a 3.5% non-refundable processing fee
  • After August 25, 2026: No refunds


Substitutions

Attendee substitutions may be made at any time at no additional cost.

Additional Information

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment and may take up to 30 days to process.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes. Attendee substitutions may be made by email to conference@narronline.org at any time at no additional cost.

Do I need to attend all three days?

You are welcome to attend the full Summit or select portions based on your schedule. Full participation is encouraged to get the most value from the experience.

If the event is not sold out, a limited number of day passes may be available. Please contact conference@narronline.org for availability.

Can I register multiple attendees?

Yes. One person may register multiple attendees during the registration process. Each attendee should review and update their own registration information to ensure accuracy.

How do I update my registration information?

Each attendee will receive a confirmation email with a link to their registration record. This link can be used to update registration details prior to the registration closing date.

Is hotel lodging included with registration?

No. Hotel accommodations are not included with Summit registration.

Registered attendees will receive access to the discounted NARR room block booking link in their registration confirmation email.

What is the Summit hotel rate?

The discounted NARR group rate at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa is $239/night + tax.

Rooms are available while supplies last.

Are meals included with registration?

Yes. Registration includes scheduled meals and refreshment breaks during conference programming.

Program & Speakers

Who will be presenting? What are the sessions about?

Summit speakers include recovery housing operators, peer leaders, affiliate representatives, researchers, and policymakers. Sessions focus on practical implementation, best practices, policy, and system-level strategies.

When will the full agenda be available?

An Agenda at a Glance will be available in advance, with full session details and speaker information released as the program is finalized.

Are Continuing Education Credits Available?

Yes. NARR is a NAADAC, NBHAP, and FCB-Approved Education Provider.

CE credits are available for qualifying sessions for an additional $75 processing fee (selected during registration). The agenda will indicate which sessions qualify and their Counselor Skill Group.

Attendees are responsible for meeting all requirements and deadlines. NARR does not guarantee CE eligibility for every session. Instructions for claiming CE Credit will be provided during the Summit.

Note: Please confirm with your licensing body that NAADAC, NBHAP, or FCB credits meet your requirements.

Hotel & Travel

How do I book a hotel room?

After completing your Summit registration, you will receive a confirmation email with the hotel booking link and instructions.

When should I book my hotel room?

We strongly recommend booking your room as soon as possible. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may sell out before the reservation deadline.

On-Site Experience

Will my dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Meals are served buffet-style. While the venue will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee accommodation for all restrictions.

Attendees with severe allergies are encouraged to review the posted menu and speak with a NARR team member at registration to discuss available options.

What should I expect during the Summit?

The Summit includes a mix of plenary sessions, breakout sessions, peer-led discussions, and networking opportunities. Attendees can expect practical content, meaningful connections, and opportunities to learn from leaders across the recovery housing field.
